CAUTION
Before switching on this instrument, make sure that the line
voltage selector switch is set to the voltage of the p ower supply and
the correct fuse is installed.
Always use the three-prong ac p ower cord supplied with this
instrument. Failure to ensure adequate earth grounding by not
using this cord may cause instrument damage.
Before switching on this pro duct, make sure that the line voltage
selector switch is set to the voltage of the power supply and
the correct fuse is installed. Assure the supply voltage is in the
specied range.
Ventilation Requirements:
When installing the instrumentina
cabinet, the convection into and out of the instrumentmust not b e
restricted. The ambient temperature (outside the cabinet) must be
less than the maximum operating temperature of the instrument
by4

C for every 100 watts dissipated in the cabinet. If the total
power dissipated in the cabinet is greater than 800 watts, then
forced convection must be used.
This pro duct is designed for use in Installation Category II and
Pollution Degree 2 p er IEC 1010 and 664, respectiv
ely.
Note
The detachable power cord is the instrument disconnecting device.
It disconnects the mains circuits from the mains supply before other
parts of the instrument. The front panel switch is only a standby
switch and is not a LINE switch.
