100 EST iO64 and iO500 Technical Reference Manual
Clearing the history
The panel maintains 1,000 system or user events. The event record
contains the event time, the event type, the event state, and the
event ID. The event time is the time and date of the event activation
or restoration. All of these records are stored in the panel's history
database and can be cleared (deleted) if needed. Once the history
records are cleared, all new panel events are stored in history.
Reasons for needing to clear the history records:
Once the system is installed, you may want to clear history
before turning over the system to the building owner so they
can start with a clean history.
If your system history is full of events from a faulty device,
problem, or situation, you may want to clear the history once
the problem is fixed so you can start with a clean history.
Note: When panel history is full, as new events take place, the oldest
events are deleted.
