7.3 Set the Voice/Lights/Timer options
Use this procedure to set the Voice/Light/Timer settings so the system will automatically give
breathing instructions to the patient based on the applied settings.
The Light and Timer features are visible on the gantry if selected for use.
1.
From the
Scan Settings window, click the Timing collection.
2. Click
Voice, Lights, Timer .
3.
Select the commands you want to use for breathing instructions.

Three pre-recorded voices are available in ten languages.
○
You can record additional voice instructions. See
Record an Auto Voice message .
○
You can set an Auto Voice preset delay.
4. Turn on Breathing Lights .
NOTE: Breathing Lights does not require that the voice is selected.
5. Turn on Timer , if desired.
NOTE: Timer does not require that Breathing Lights are on.
6. Click [OK].
7.4 Change the Auto Voice preset delay
The Preset Delay adds a delay between the completion of the Pre-scan message and X-ray on.
This delay can be set when creating a protocol. Use this procedure to set the preset delay.
1.
From the
Scan Settings window, click the Timing collection.
2. Click
Voice, Lights, Timer .
3.
In the
Preset Delay Time field, enter a time.
The valid range is 0 to 7 seconds.
4. Click [OK].
