Defining the tool-change point
Approach the tool change position
 Position the tool to the tool change point with the handwheels. (Always program the tool
change point far away enough from the workpiece to avoid damage during a tool change.)
 Define the tool change
point:
Press the Take over
position soft key
Display: The fields highlighted in blue
show the distance from the machine
datum to the tool change point.
 Return to the setup menu:
Press the Back soft key
 Return to the main menu:
Press the Back soft key
