Indicator/Button State Description
HLY Health indicator
l Off: The compute node is not powered on.
l Steady green: The compute node hardware is
operating properly.
l Blinking red (at 1 Hz): A major alarm is
generated for the compute node.
l Blinking red (at 5 Hz): A critical alarm is
generated for the compute node, or the
compute node is not securely installed.
hard disk activity
indicator
l Off: The hard disk is faulty or not detected.
l Blinking green: Data is being read from or
written to the hard disk, or synchronized
between hard disks.
l Steady green: The hard disk is not being
accessed.
hard disk fault indicator
l Off: The hard disk is operating properly.
l Blinking yellow: The hard disk is being
located, or RAID is being rebuilt.
l Steady yellow: The hard disk is faulty or not
detected.
NVMe SSD activity
indicator
l Off: The SSD is faulty or not detected.
l Blinking green: Data is being read from or
written to the SSD, or synchronized between
SSDs.
l Steady green: The SSD is not being accessed.
NVMe SSD fault
indicator
l Off: The SSD is operating properly.
l Blinking yellow (at 0.5 Hz): The SSD
completes the hot swap process and is ready to
be removed.
l Blinking yellow (at 2 Hz): The SSD is being
located or ejected.
l Steady yellow: The SSD is faulty or not
detected.
