8.5.1 Checking the AdBlue tank level
Checking The warning lamp for checking the AdBlue system and a display for the
AdBlue level in the tank is on the ECOS display in the crane cab.

The tank has a maximum filling volume of about 40 ltr (10.5 gal). Depending
on where the truck crane is used, it may be sensible to carry additional
canisters of AdBlue.
• Start the engine and check the lamp (1) after the engine starts:
– If the lamp goes out, the AdBlue level in the tank is sufficient.
– If the lamp lights up, the level in the AdBlue tank is on reserve.
– If the lamp flashes, the AdBlue tank is empty.
• Check the AdBlue level in the tank via the display.
• Refill the tank when the AdBlue level falls below approx. 10 ltr (2.6 gal)
at the latest – and/or if the lamp lights up.
8.5.2 Filling up with AdBlue
Consumable and
tools
– As required: 2 canisters of about 20 ltr each (5 gal);

Prerequisites – A service station with a filling pump for AdBlue can be used, or AdBlue
can be filled manually from
canisters.
– The engine must be switched off and secured against unauthorised use;
