– Remove connectors -arrows-.
– Release locking lugs -arrows- and remove switch from the in‐
stallation frame.
Installing:
Install in reverse order of removal.
3.6 Removing and installing remote release
button for fuel filler flap and rear lid -
E463- and key operated switch to block
release of rear lid remote -E232-
Note
The remote release button for fuel filler flap and rear lid -E463-
features a button illumination bulb -L76- , which must not be
replaced individually.
Removing:
– Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers.
– Remove door trim ⇒ General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.
70 ; Door trim; Removing and installing front door trim, driver
side .
– Disconnect connector -arrow-.
