the true zero position of the ram. After zeroing, if the press is at TDC, the crank angle
value in the LED display should read 0°. If it does not, repeat the zeroing process.
Initializing Only the Start-time Limit
If you want to re-initialize only the Start-time Limit without re-initializing the Stop-time
Limit and Resolver Zero settings (see Initializing the System, page 3-3), do the following:
1. Power down WPC 2000.
2. While powering WPC 2000 back up, turn the WPC Settings key switch to “–” (i.e.,
clockwise) and hold it there. When “Str” appears in the LED display (see Figure 3-4),
release the key.
The next time you start the press, WPC 2000 will set the Start-time Limit to twice the Start
Time measured on the first stroke. This value cannot be changed manually.
Viewing the Start-time Limit
To view the Start-time Limit, do the following:
1. Press the Reset/Select button repeatedly, until the “Stopping Angle” indicator segment
illuminates.
2. Turn the WPC Settings key switch to “–” (i.e., clockwise). The Start-time Limit in
milliseconds is shown in the LED display.
Viewing the Last Start Time
To view the Start Time measured the last time you started your press, do the following:
The Start-time Limit value cannot be changed manually.
