Timeout Between Decodes, Same Symbol
Parameter # 137 (SSI # 89h)
Use this option in Continuous Bar Code Read mode to prevent the beeper from continuously beeping when a
symbol is left in the digital scanner field of view. The bar code must be out of the field of view for the timeout period
before the digital scanner reads the same consecutive symbol. It is programmable in 0.1 second increments from
0.0 to 9.9 seconds. The default interval is 0.5 seconds.
To select the timeout between decodes for the same symbol, scan the bar code below, then scan two numeric bar
codes from Appendix G, Numeric Bar Codes that correspond to the desired interval, in 0.1 second increments.

Timeout Between Decodes, Different Symbols
Parameter # 144 (SSI # 90h)
Use this option in presentation mode or Continuous Bar Code Read to control the time the digital scanner is
inactive between decoding different symbols. It is programmable in 0.1 second increments from 0.1 to 9.9 seconds.
The default is 0.1 seconds.
To select the timeout between decodes for different symbols, scan the bar code below, then scan two numeric bar
codes from Appendix G, Numeric Bar Codes that correspond to the desired interval, in 0.1 second increments.
