(1) Check at each engine start.
(2) Check and clean and adjust or replace, if necessary, before every journey.
(3) Check and clean, adjust or replace if necessary every 1,000 km (621.37 mi).
(4) Replace every 4 years.
(5) Every 5,000 Km (3,106.86 mi) if the vehicle is used for racing.
(6) Every 10,000 Km (6,213.71 mi) if the vehicle is used for racing.
(7) Your RSV4 is equipped with a sophisticated system, based on exchangeable conical bushes that
allow the modification of the steering angle for track use. In case of prolonged road use in conditions
with uneven ground (e.g. use on pave, holes, speed bumps) can bring small adjustments that, in ex-
treme cases, can cause a slight clearance to the handlebar. Therefore it is recommended to perform
the check and adjustment operations at an Authorised Aprilia-Piaggio Workshop every 5,000 km
(3,106.86 mi).
(8) Replace at whichever of the following occurs first: 40,000 km (24,854.85 mi) or 4 years.
