4.1 Positioning the DP2K SLP-series projector at port w indow
WARNING: Th e installation of the DP2K SLP-series req uires at least 4 ad ult perso ns.
General guideline s
• Use a solid pedestal to mount the D P2K SLP -series projec tor on to. Ensur e that the pedestal can suppor
t the weight of the
projector an d that all feet of the projector are captured.
• The pedestal should b e p laced in front of the po rt window wall in a m anner suc h that the projector lens is at a minimum distance
of 20 centimeters from the port window.

Positioning at port window
Barco offers a pedestal for the DP 2K SLP-series projector. This universal ped estal allows for a solid and
easy setup of the projector. The un iversal pedestal sup port 19” rack system s. (projector peripherals such as
alternative co ntent sw itchers, S how Vault, etc.)

Projector centering
1. If the projector is standalone in front of the port w indow, ce nter the projector with the theatre screen (see reference A image 4-2).
2. If an analog film projector is already present (projector will be off-center), try to optimize aim (see reference B image 4-2).
Note: Unlike analog film projectors, it is best to kee
p the projector lens s urface as p arallel as possible to the screen, even if it
is significantly above the screen center.
Caution: The front foot has an adjustment range of maximum 70mm. The bac k feet maximum 150m m.
