9.2 Switching the DP2K SLP-series OFF

1. Press the S tandby button on the Local Keypad or use the Communic ator Touch P anel to switch the projector from Light Source
ON m ode to Standby mode. As a res ult the light source turns off while the fans k eep turning to cool down the projector.
2. Allow the projector to cool down for 5 minutes minimum or until the speed of the fans decreases.
3. Switch the pr ojector OF F with the power switch.
Tip: Make sure no lens motors are running while switching off the projector. Wait for lens positioning to comple
te.

How to put the projector into Sleep mode?
1. Check if the light s ource is switched off. If not, press the Standby button on the Lo cal Keypad or use the Communicator t o switch
the light source off. The backlight color of the S tandby button is red when the light s ource is s witched off.
Note: To put the projector into Sleep the projector m ust be in Standby mode (in other words the lamp must be off). If the lamp
is ignited he Sleep button is disabled notwithstanding the backlight color of the S leep button is green.
2. Press the SLEEP button on the Local K eypad for three seconds or use the Communicator to put the projector into Sleep mode.
As a result the projector immediately shuts down the e lectronics. When the after cooling cycle of the light source is finished, the
projector will go to sleep. The bac klight color of the Sleep button is red in Sleep mode even when the projector is finishing the
after cooling cycle.
Note: Pressing the S leep button before the a fter cooling cy cle has finished, will restart t he projector in a norm al way.
