PtcCO2 Outside Limits
Priority High
Alarm Condition A PtcCO
2
alarm will be given when PtcCO
2
is outside alarm
limits.
Check the PtcCO
2
monitor.
Possible cause
External PtcCO
2
monitor is outside its alarm limits.
Breath Rate needs adjustment
Delivered Tidal Volume needs adjustment.
Excessive dead space between patient and leakage port.
Leak port occluded.
Ventilator disconnection.
Excessive leakage in the Patient circuit/Interface.
Partial obstruction of the airways.
Self triggering of the ventilator.
Ventilator action The ventilator will continue treatment with the same settings.
This alarm requires a connected PtcCO
2
sensor.
