Product ManualDOC. 8432A Crestron Pyng OS 2 for CP4-R 29
Pair Third Party Devices
Select Third Party from the Device Types menu to pair third party devices with the
Crestron Pyng system. Third party devices may be paired after their drivers are
downloaded and installed into the system.
NOTE: Only devices with discrete on and off commands should be paired with the
system. If, for example, a device with an auto-off timer is paired with the system, the
device may turn itself off while the room remains on. This behavior causes the device to
power on and become out of sync with the room after the room is powered off.
Pair Devices - Third Party Devices
Crestron Certified Drivers for third party devices are added automatically to the system
after they become certified. Additionally, custom device drivers may be side loaded
directly into the CP4-R for added device support.
To pair third party devices with the Crestron Pyng system:
1. Select the device type from the Third Party Devices menu.
