OS Installation Using ServerStart
3.1.3 RAID and Disk Wizard
Configure RAID, and create and format hard disk partitions.
1 Click [RAID and Disk Wizard: RAID configuration and hard disk partitioning /
formatting].
The [Configuration for Disks and RAID Controllers] window appears.
Only array controllers already installed are displayed.
2 Select the method of RAID configuration.
To install the OS while maintaining the established RAID environment
Select [Logical Drive View], and add partitions as necessary. For more details, refer to "■
Installation While Maintaining the Established RAID Environment" (pg.60).
To configure RAID
Select [Mass Storage Controller View], and add controllers as necessary. For more details, refer
to "
■ Configuring RAID" (pg.61).
3 Set items and click [leave wizard].
The RAID and Disk wizard closes.
