Nel caso in cui venissero a mancare alcuni segnali in entrata, viene comunque garantito un funziona-
mento accettabile del motore, per permettere all'utente di raggiungere l'officina di riparazione.
Naturalmente ciò non può accadere quando viene a mancare il segnale di giri-fase oppure quando
l'anomalia interessa i circuiti di comando:
- Pompa benzina
- Bobine A.T.
- Iniettori
The control unit is provided with a self-diagnosis
system connected to an indicator light in the in-
strument panel.
Failures are detected and restored by the diag-
nostic tester.
In any case, when the fault is no longer present,
the data storage is automatically cleared after 16
cycles of use (cold start, running at regular engine
temperature, stop).
The diagnostic tester is also required to adjust the
idle mixture.

The EMS injection-ignition system has a control
function over the rpm indicator and the radiator
cooling electric fan.
The EMS is connected to the antitheft immobilizer
system decoder.
In turn, the decoder is connected to a flashing di-
agnostic LED that also serves as deterrent.
