4. IACV Resistance Inspection
Measure the resistance at the IACV 4P (Black)
connector [1] terminals
of the IACV side.
CONNECTION: A- D
B-C [1]
STANDARD: 110 -150 n (20 °ct6a °F)
Is the resistance within 110 150 !2 (20°C/68°F)?
YES - GO TO STEP 5.
NO - Faulty IACV. Replace the IACV with a new
one and recheck.
5. IACV Short Circuit Inspection
Check for continuity at the IACV 4P (Black)
connector [1] terminals
of the IACV side.
CONNECTION: A- B
C-D
STANDARD: No continuity
Is there continuity?
YES - Faulty IACV. Replace the IACV with a new
one and recheck.
NO - Replace the ECM with new one and
recheck.
