INSPECTION
Relieve the fuel pressure
and
disconnect the fuel
injector side quick connect fitting (page 7-6).
Wipe
up
any
spilled
Place the end of the hose into
an
approved gasoline

Turn the ignition switch
ON

Measure the amount of fuel flow.
NOTE:
• The fuel pump operates for 2 seconds. Repeat 5
times to meet the total measuring time.
Return fuel

the fuel tank when the first fuel

finished.

less than specified, inspect the following:
- Clogged fuel hose
- Fuel pump unit (page 7-10)
- Clogged fuel filter (page 7-10)
Connect the quick connect fitting and normalize the fuel
pressure (page 7-7).

Replace the fuel filter (page
