RIGHT CRANKSHAFT OIL

INSPECTION/REPLACEMENT
Check the condition
of
the right crankshaft oil seal [1].
If damaged or deteriorated, replace as follows.
Apply engine oil to a new oil seal [1] lip.
Install the oil seal
to
the stator base squarely until it
is
flush with the stator base surface as shown, using the
special tools.
TOOLS:

INSTALLATION

Apply engine oil to the entire surface
of
the inner
[1]
and
outer [2] rotors and
to
the oil pump shaft [3] sliding
surface.
Install the outer rotor
to
the oil pump assembly [4].
Install the dowel pins [1].
Install the oil pump
[2]
to
the crankcase.
Install and tighten the oil pump mounting bolts
[3]
to the
specified torque.
TORQUE: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m, 7
lbMt)
