• When removing the oil pump, do not allow dust or
dirt
to
enter the engine.
Drain the engine oil (page 3-12).
Remove the stator (page 14-4
).
Remove the bolts [1] and stator base [2].
Remove the 0-ring
[1]
from the stator base groove.
Remove the dowel pins [2] from right crankcase.
Remove the oil pump driven gear [3].
Remove the oil pump mounting bolts
[1]
and oil pump
[2].
Remove the dowel pins [3].
Remove the outer rotor
[1]
from the oil pump assembly
[2].
