FINAL REDUCTION CASE
Check the final reduction case bearings

and
final
gear shaft
oil
seal
[2]
forwear
or damage.
Turn each bearing inner race with your finger.
The bearing should turn smoothly without friction.
Check that there
is
no
clearance between the outer
race and final reduction case.
GEAR/SHAFT
DRIVES HAFT
Check the driveshaft [1] for bend, wear or damage.
COUNTER GEAR/COUNTERSHAFT/FINAL GEAR
SHAFT
Check the countershaft [1], counter gear
[2]
and final
gear shaft
[3]
for wear or damage.
