MAINTENANCE
Remove the screws
[1]
and air cleaner housing cover
[2].
After '13 model: Remove the air cleaner element [3].
Discard the air cleaner element
in
accordance with the
maintenance schedule (page 3-5).
Replace the element any time if it is excessively dirty or
damaged.
Align the locating Install the removed parts
in
the reverse order of
portions
of
the
air
removal.

NOTE:
• Service more frequently when ridden
in
rain, at full
throttle, or after the scooter
is
washed or overturned.
Service if the deposit level can
be
seen
in
the
transparent section of the drain plug.
Remove the crankcase breather drain plug
[1]
from the
air cleaner and drain deposits into a suitable container.
Install the crankcase breather drain plug.
