Install the top thread [1].
Hold the steering stem and tighten the stem top thread
to the initial torque using the special tool.
TOOL:
[2] Pin spanner

TORQUE:
Actual: 25 N·m (2.5 kgf·m, 18 lbMt)
Indicated:
21
N·m
(2.1
kgf·m, 15 lbMt)
Turn the steering stem [1] lock-to-lock several times to
seat the bearing.
Completely loosen the top thread.
Tighten the top thread

fully by hand while holding the
steering stem, then turn the top thread
counterclockwise about 45 degrees.
Hold the top thread using the pin spanner and tighten
the steering stem lock nut

to
the specified torque.

TORQUE: 74 N·m (7.5 kgf·m, 55 lbMt)
Make sure the steering stem moves smoothly without
play or binding.
Install the following:
- Handlebar post (page 17-23) [
