6.12 Flexible Card Line Processing
Unit(LPUF-51/LPUF-51-B,two sub-slots)
Overview
Flexible Card Line Processing Unit(LPUF-51/LPUF-51-B,two sub-slots)which enhances
networking flexibility and provides low-cost and customized solutions supports packet
forwarding at the line speed of 50 Gbit/s. The Flexible Card Line Processing
Unit(LPUF-51/LPUF-51-B,two sub-slots)provides two 1/2-width slots, and each slot holds
one FPIC.
The LPUF-51 has two models: LPUF-51 and LPUF-51-B. The LPUF-51 supports all software
features whereas the LPUF-51-B supports software features except L3VPN, MVPN, and
IPv6.
An FPIC supports the following functions:

Hot swap

Automatic recovery of configurations

Intermixing with other types of FPICs
Follow shows the appearance of the Flexible Card Line Processing
Unit(LPUF-51/LPUF-51-B,two sub-slots).
