7.9 CE1/CT1/E3/T3 Cable
This section describes the structure and technical specifications of the CE1/CT1/C3/T3 cable.
7.9.1 Introduction
The CE1/CT1 interface provided by the NE40E uses the 120 ohm trunk cable (RJ-45
connectors on both ends). The E3/T3 interface uses the 75 ohm trunk cable with SMB
connectors on either two ends or one end. If the connector is not matched when the cable is
connected to the remote device, the transfer box can change the electrical resistance between
120 ohm and 75 ohm.
7.9.2 Structure
Figure 7-12 shows the 120-ohm trunk cable adopts the RJ-45 connector and the cable
structure.
