6.16.7 20-Port 1000Base-X-SFP Flexible Card E(P40-E)
Overview
Figure 6-133 shows the appearance of the 20-Port 1000Base-X-SFP Flexible Card E(P40-E).
The use of electrical-interface SFP modules has limitations in some cases.
1. If the manufacture date of the LPUF-40 is before 2011-10-01, electrical-interface SFP modules can
only be inserted into the interfaces with even numbers on a flexible card. Each flexible card can be
equipped with a maximum of 10 electrical-interface SFP modules. If the electrical SFP modules are
inserted into interfaces with odd numbers, the system will display a message of "......transceiver type is
not supported."
2. Run the display elabel slot command in the user view to view the value of the "Manufactured=" field.
If the value of the "Manufactured=" field is 2011-10-01 or a later date, there is no limitation on the use
of electrical-interface SFP modules. For example:

If the indicator blinks once every 2s (0.5 Hz), the FPIC is in the
normal state state. If the indicator blinks twice every 1s (2 Hz), the
