Changing Transmission Oil Filter Cartridge
A CAUTION
• Before changing
the transmission oil filter cartridge, be sure
to stop the engine.
1. Remove the transmission oil filter cartridge (1).
2. Apply transmission oil slightly to the rubber gasket of new
cartridge.
3. Install the new cartridge. screwing it in by hand.
Over-tightening may cause deformation of the rubber
gasket.
4. After the cartridge has been changed, the transmission oil
level normally lowers a
little. Add transmission oil to proper
level.
• IMPORTANT
• To
prevent serious damage to the HST and hydraulic system.
replacement
oil filter cartridge must be highly efficient. Use
only a genuine KUBOTA filter cartridge or its equivalent.

Cleaning
Air Cleaner Element
1. Remove the wing bolt and washer, and take out the air
cleaner element (2).
2. Wipe dust in the air cleaner body (1).
3. To clean the air cleaner element, blow clean and dry
compressed air on the inside of element.
•
Air pressure at the nozzle must not exceed 205 kPa (2.1
kgf/cm2, 30 psi) .
•
Maintain reasonable distance between the nozzle and
element.
4. If the element is stained with carbon or oil, use NO-1400 (by
Donaldson)
or its equivalent and wash the element .
•
NOTE
• Do not run the engine with air cleaner element removed.
• Replace
the air cleaner element once yearly or after every
sixth cleaning, whichever comes first.
