Toe-in
1.
Inflate the
front
tires
to
the specified pressure (100
kPa,
1.0
kgf/cm2,
14
psi).
2.
Turn the
front
wheels straight ahead, and measure the toe-in
(B-A).
3.
If
the measurement
is
not
within
the factory specifications,
change the tie-rod length
to
adjust.

• After adjusting the toe-in. secure the tie-rod

DISASSEMBLING
AND
ASSEMBLING
Tie-rod and Drag Link
1.
Unscrew the tie-rod mounting nuts, and remove
the
tie-rod
(3).
2.
Pull
out the cotter pin, and unscrew
the
slotted nut.
3.
Remove
the drag
link
(1)
from
the
front
knuckle arm (2).
(When reassembling)

Separating Front Wheel and Kingpin
1.
Support the frame
with
jack.
2.
Loosen
the
front
knuckle arm mounting
bolt
(4), and remove
the front knuckle arm
(2)
and
feather key.
3.
Separate the
left
front
wheel (3)
with
kingpin
(1).
4.
Remove
the external
snap
ring (5), and separate
the
right
front wheel (7)
with
kingpin (6).
(When reassembling)
• After reassembling the kingpin, inject grease until
it
comes
out.
