Screw
1. Unscrew the mounting nut, and disconnect the
connecting lead (11).
2. Unscrew the solenoid switch mounting screws (1),
and remove the solenoid switch (6).
3. Unscrew the through bolts (12) and screws (16),
and remove
the rear end frame (15).
4. Remove the brush from the brush holder while
holding the spring up.
5. Remove the brush holder (14).
6. Draw out the yoke (13) from the starter drive
housing (2).
7. Remove the plate (5), and draw out the armature
(8) with the drive lever (4).
• NOTE
• Do not damage to the brush and commutator.
(When reassembling)
• Lubricate
the parts indicated in the figure.
