Clearance between Outer Rotor and Pump Body
1. Measure the clearance between the outer rotor and the
pump body with a feeler gauge.
2. If the clearance exceeds the allowable limit, replace the oil
pump rotor assembly.

Clearance between Rotor and Cover
1. Put a strip of press gauge (Code No. 07909-30241) onto the
rotor face with grease.
2. Install the cover and tighten the screws.
3. Remove the cover carefully, and measure the width of the
press gauge with a sheet of gauge.
4. If the clearance exceeds the allowable limit, replace oil pump
rotor assembly.

Fan Belt Tension
1. Measure the deflection (A), depressing the belt halfway
between the fan drive pulley (4) and dynamo pulley (2) at
specified force (98 N, 10 kgf, 22Ibs).
2. If the measurement is not the factory specification, loosen
the dynamo mounting screws (1), (3) and relocate the
dynamo to adjust.

Fan Belt Damage and Wear
1. Check the fan belt for cracks or tears.
If defects are found, replace it.
2. Check the fan belt comes in contact with bottom of pulley
groove.
If contacts, replace it .
