DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING
Bonnet, Battery and Drag Link
1. Disconnect the ground cable (4) and positive cable (3).
2. Remove the battery retainer (2), and then dismount the
battery (5) from the frame.
3. Disconnect four lP connectors from the head lights, and then
remove the bonnet (1).
4. Remove the pulley cover.
5. Remove the battery support (6). (G2000 only)
6. Remove the drag link from the front knuckle arm.
(When reassembling)
73.5 to 103.0 N'm
Tightening torque
Slotted nut
7.5 to 10.5 kt·m
54.2 to 75.9 t-Ibs

PTO Clutch Spring, Return Spring, Brake Spring and Belt Stay
1. Remove the PTO clutch spring (1), return spring (2) and brake
spring (3).
2. Unscrew the belt stay mounting screws, and remove the belt
stay (4) .
• IMPORTANT
•
After reassembling the PTO clutch spring, be sure to adjust
the front PTO belt tension. (See page S.7·2)

After reassembling the belt stay, be sure to adjust the
clearance between the belt stay and front PTO belt. (See
page S.7-3)
