REMOVAL
Remove the air cleaner (refer to the “AIR
CLEANER” section in the chapter 13)
Remove the carburetor (refer to the
“CARBURETOR” section in the chapter 13)
Loosen the rear axle nut.
Support the scooter securely on its main
stand.
Remove the three bolts (1) from rear brake
hose clamps.
Remove the two bolts (2), then remove the
rear brake caliper.
Disconnect the alternator connector (3).
Disconnect the ignition pulse generator
connector (4).
Release the rubber cap and remove the
terminal screw (5) to disconnect the start
motor cable from the start motor.
