5.4.3 Cup plate

Dismantling
Dismantle the bean container
Unscrew the fixing screws for the cup plate and the tubulure.
Once the fastening screws on the cup plate
have been removed the machine covers are no
longer secure, and will tip outwards.
Take precautions to make sure that the casing panels
do not fall back and are damaged, or cause damage to
the surrounding area.
If you do not have to remove the casing panels for the
maintenance work, or only need to remove them
partially, then secure the back and side panels with one
screw each.
2. Lift up the cup plate
3. Unplug the plug-in connection for the cup plate heating,
then remove the cup plate.
Repair (see 5.5.1)
Replace heating foil
Electrical check

Installation
Checks:
Are the cup plate heating elements still fixed with
adhesive over the entire surface?
Are the cables undamaged, with no broken strands, and
are the plug contacts free of rust?
Carry out the work steps in reverse order, depending on the
state of disassembly.
