5.4.9 Rotary-vane type pump

Preparation
Disconnect supply connections
Dismantle the bean container
Dismantle the cup plate
Dismantle the casing
Dismantle the front cover
Dismantling
1. Loosen the casing on the reinforced hose. Remove the
sieve from the elbow screw joint; check its condition
2. Loosen the screw fitting on the pump outlet and remove
the pipe to the distributor cabinet.
3. Disconnect the pump motor cable at the connection
terminals, if necessary tip the machine slightly to the left.
4. Loosen the nuts on the drive motor; remove the nuts and
spring lock washers
5. Remove the drive motor and the pump from the framing
Repair (see 5.5.4)
Dismantle / replace the control set
Replace the capacitor
