2.8 Instructions on check numbers 1-16
Note 1
Check the non-return valves for calcium deposits and
against the direction of the arrow for seal.
Note 2
Visual check for calcium deposits and wear on the seal.
Note 3
Visual check for calcium deposits, damage,
contamination and seal of pipes.
Note 4
The two seats (item 1) of the ventilation valve (POM
white) must be clean and must indicate no damage. The
four tube connections (item 2) on the ventilation valve
must be screwed in firmly and tightly.
Note 5
The water cylinder (item 1 in the next illustration) must
not indicate any calcium deposits or oxide layer. If the
cylinder is covered with a layer of oxide on the inside, it
must be replaced.
Note 6
The spring resistance in the water cylinder must be
sufficient to press back the piston after the 3/2 way valve
has closed.
It must be possible to move the squeeze device (item 2)
back and forth without resistance.
The squeeze housing 063'569 must include a stop in the
squeeze housing or a distancing sleeve 061’075 is in-
stalled in the cylinder.
Note 7
Check the steam valve battery for calcium deposits,
decalcify if necessary. The valve seats must not show
any damage.
The upper parts of the valve 063’247 must be replaced
every 12 months.
If single valves are fitted, as a general rule, these are
replaced every 12 months.
Note 8
Check the entire Cappuccinatore for wear, cracks and
water-tightness. In all cases replace the O-rings 063’495
with new ones from the O-ring set.
Note 9
Check the steam nozzles for calcium deposits,
contamination and water-tightness.
If the nozzles in the holder are loose, the nozzles 063’479
must be replaced along with the safety ring 1069007. Set
050'416 can be used for this purpose.
