5.5.7 Repair valve battery.

Preparation
Disconnect supply connections
Dismantle the bean container
Dismantle the cup plate
Dismantle the valve battery
When repairing a valve battery all valves must be renewed
(repair kit 063247)
Service
1. Loosen the magnet coil and pull the core guide tube
from the valve body
2. Loosen the core guide tube and remove from the valve
box, together with the closing element.
3. Remove the O-ring
4. Assess the condition of the valve seats and the degree
of calcification, clean / decalcify the valve box (or com-
pletely replace the valve battery.) If you do carry out a
full replacement: see the section entitled “dismantle
valve battery”)
5. Screw the new O-ring, core guide tube and closing ele-
ment into the valve housing, and tighten.
6. Push the magnet coil onto the core guide tube and
screw tighten
Reassemble the valve battery
Carry out a function check (initial test) on all three
valves.
