SCPI COMMAND SUMMARY
The coupling equations for p ower sweep are exactly analogous to
those for frequency sweep. Power sweep is allo wed to b e negative,
unlike frequency sweeps. See
FREQ:CENT
for a description. *RST
value is 0 dBm.
POWer[:LEVel] <num>[lvl suffix]|MAXimum|MINimum|UP|DOWN
POWer[:LEVel]? [MAXimum|MINimum]
Sets and queries the output level. Default units and units
for the query resp onse are determined by the
UNIT:POWer
command. Maximum and minimum levels refer to the
leveling mo de at the time the command is sent. For example,
*RST;POWer:LEVel MIN; ALC:SOURce MMHead
has dierent eects
from
*RST;POWer:ALC:SOURce MMHead; POWer:LEVel MIN
After *RST, the value is 0 dBm.
POWer:MODE FIXed|SWEep
POWer:MODE?
Sets and queries the setting of the p o
wer sweep mo de switch. If in
the sweep mo de then the output level is controlled by the start,
stop, center and span functions. If in the xed p o

POWer:OFFSet? [MAXimum|MINimum]
Sets and queries the power oset. This function changes mapping of
absolute power parameters on input to and output from the sw
ept
signal generator. Changing this do es not aect the output po
wer of
the swept signal generator. Only the displayed parameters and query
responses are changed. The equation implied by this is:

POWer:OFFSet:STATe ON|OFF|1|0
POWer:OFFSet:STATe?
Queries and turns the p ower oset o and on. After *RST, the

Sets and queries the setting of the p ower meter range. This is used
when the command
POWer:ALC:SOURce

POWer:SEARch?
Sets and queries the power search switch. This has an interaction
with
POWer:ALC:STATe
as describ ed below.
