Troubleshooting
Consult the table below should you encounter problems
using your camera. If you don’t nd the solution here, con-
tact your local Fuji lm distributor.

Solution
The camera does not
turn on.
•
The battery is not charged at shipment. Charge the bat-
tery before fi rst use.
•
Charge the battery or insert a fully-charged spare battery
(P 42).
•
Reinsert in the correct orientation (P 39).
•
Latch the battery-chamber cover.
The battery runs down
quickly.
•
When using the battery in a low-temperature environ-
ment, keep it warm in your pocket or elsewhere and in-
stall it just before shooting.
•
Set G AF/MF SETTING> PRE-AF to OFF.
•
Adjust the brightness of the display using D SCREEN
SET-UP> EVF BRIGHTNESS or LCD BRIGHTNESS.
•
Change the D POWER MANAGEMENT setting.
