4 REPAIR AND MODIFICATION PROCEDURE
Please follow these steps to return an Automation product to us:
1. Get the R
epair and Modification Return Authorization (RMA) form
An electronic version of the RMA form is available from the following web page:

2. Fill in the RMA form
Fill in only the white part of the form.
Please ensure that all fields marked (M) are completed such as:
â—‹ Equipment model
â—‹ Model No. and Serial No.
â—‹ Description of failure or modification required (please be specific)
â—‹ Value for customs (in case the product requires export)
â—‹ Delivery and invoice addresses
â—‹ Contact details
3. Send the RMA form to your local contact

4. The local service contact provides the shipping information
Your local service contact provides you with all the information needed to ship the product:
â—‹ Pricing details
â—‹ RMA number
â—‹ Repair centre address
If required, an acceptance of the quote must be delivered before going to the next stage.
5. Send the product to the repair centre
â—‹ Address the shipment to the repair centre specified by your local contact
â—‹ Make sure all items are packaged in an anti-static bag and foam protection
â—‹ Make sure a copy of the import invoice is attached with the returned unit
â—‹ Make sure a copy of the RMA form is attached with the returned unit
â—‹ E-mail or fax a copy of the import invoice and airway bill document to your local contact.
