CartoSound
CartoSound/SoundStar
The Vivid S70 / S60 can interface with the Carto 3 version 6,
which includes the CartoSound 3-D electroanatomical
navigation system and the SoundStar ultrasound Catheter,
manufactured by Biosense Webster®.
The interface allows the Vivid S70 / S60 system to send images
to the CartoSound system over a VGA video cable.
The Vivid S70 / S60 is able to send ultrasound scaling
parameters to the CartoSound system via a peer-to-peer LAN
connection.
Detailed instructions on interfacing and using the Vivid S70 /
S60 with the CartoSound and SoundStar Catheter is found in
dedicated user manuals issued by Biosense Webster, Inc.

NOTE: When turning on the Vivid S70 / S60 while interfaced with the
CartoSound, the boot-up process may take up to about 3
minutes.
Using CartoSound
When the CartoSound interface is connected, navigate to Utility
and select CartoSound from the touch panel.
