2.4 Test of solenoid valve/pump
- The operation confirmation of solenoid valve and pump is performed.
(1) Supply valve (MV1)
(2) Replenishment valve (MV2)
(3) Recovery valve (MV3)
(4) Agitation valve (MV4)
(5) Circulation valve (MV5)
(6) Pressure relief valve (MV6)
(7) Makeup ink valve (MV7)
(8) Cleaning valve (MV8)
(9) Shutoff valve (MV9)
(10) Viscometer coil (MV10)
(11) Air valve for main ink tank stirrer (MV11) ---[PXR-P only]
(12) Air valve for ink reservoir stirrer (MV12) ---[PXR-P only]
(13) Pump
- Perform this test in a "stop" state.
(In an operating state, only an operating state is displayed.)
1 Press solenoid valve/pump test at the second page of the service
maintenance screen.
When the previous menu and the next menu are not displayed in the maintenance menu,
set to the service personnel maintenance mode by the password protection.
The operating state of the solenoid valve and the pump is displayed.
(Confirm the operation by an operating sound.)
Open : The solenoid valve is opened.
Close : The solenoid valve is closed.
Operated : The pump is operated.
Stop : The pump is stopped.
2 When pressing Back, the screen returns to the maintenance menu
screen.
*Caution:
The pumps and solenoid valve can be operated simultaneously
however, operate them with care when the solenoid valves are
turned on while pump is activated because it is not a steady
operation.
With respect to the
password protection,
refer to " 2.1 setting of
service personnel
maintenance mode"
