4 Press OK
“Wait for a minute” is displayed. After the completion of the download, the screen returns
to the service maintenance screen.
5 After the download is completed, press the ejector (button) and take the
memory card out of the slot.
Caution
The upgrade software and the display language data are included in the memory card
used for download.
PXR type IJ printer can register two languages, but if the memory card doesn’t include
the languages registered in the IJ printer, the language is automatically changed
to English when after downloading. ( Refer to the following example)

3. Vietnamese

In this case, English is displayed when after downloading.
If other language should be displayed, please perform language registration again.
- The download timing is different between the following case (1) and (2).
(1) Turn on the power and then insert the system data memory card
(2) Insert the system data memory card and then turn on the power
In the case of (1):
Start the download after pressing “OK” on the “Download” screen as described above.
In the case of (2):
Start the download automatically when turning on the power
*) Take care that in this case, the download procedure starts automatically even if the
software version in the system data memory card is older than the IJP.
