2.6.2 Confirmation of the ink viscosity coefficient
-Viscosity coefficient has been input when shipped. (PXR-H, PXR-P)
-Viscosity coefficient need to be fixed by “Viscometer calibration”.(PXR-D)
- Viscosity coefficient differs in each unit.
- Viscosity coefficient is not necessary to be changed usually.
- Be sure to perform the viscometer calibration after the viscometer is changed. (PXR-D)
- Be sure to input the coefficient for new viscometer after the viscometer is changed (PXR-H,
PXR-P).
This appears on the Unit information screen on the second page of the Service
maintenance screen.
The coefficient is printed (Check mark) on the label of the viscometer.(PXR-H, PXR-P)
(The check mark is not printed for the viscometer of PXR-D.)

If value on the screen and value
indicated on the viscometer do not
match, correct the value on the
screen to the value indicated on the
viscometer.
“Coefficient” confirmation method
Calibration of viscometer is not required for the model PXR-H and the PXR-P.
Note that this point is different from the model PXR-D.
The calibration is a work to fix the coefficient being used for viscosity calculation.
