7.6 Selection of Braking Resistor
The braking resistor should be selected according to the actual generating power of the motor, the system inertia,
deceleration time and potential energy load. The larger the system inertia is, the shorter the deceleration time is
required, and the more frequent braking is. Thus select a braking resistor of greater power and smaller resistance.
