Condition
The shock absorber
has
been
demounted.
- Clamp the shock absorber in a bench vise using soft jaws.
- Measure and note the spring length in its pre-compressed state.
- Loosen screw

- Rotate the adjusting ring until the spring is
no
longer under tension.
