Chanlinl the heim joint
- Tighten the spring by turning the adjusting ring to the measured value deter-
mined when it
was removed.
1 Hook wrench (Tl06S) (or p. 262)
- Tighten screw •.
Guideline
1 Screw, shock absorber adjusting ring 1 M6 15 Nm (3.7 Ibf ft)
- Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand. (or p. 10)
- Remove screw. and lower the rear wheel with the swingarm as far as possible
without blocking the rear wheel. Fix the rear wheel in this position.

I Raise the wheel slightly to make it easier to remove the screw.
- Swing back the shock absorber.

Remove spacers. on both sides.

Remove shaft seal rings. on both sides.
- Mount special
tool •.
1 Mounting tool, heim joint (50329000044) (or p. 254)
- Press out the heim joint by screwing in the screw.
