- Remove the nut of screw O.
- Remove screws. and •. Take off the chain guide.
Condition
Number of teeth: :S 44 teeth
- Insert
nut. in hole •. Position the chain guide.
- Mount and tighten
screws. and •.
Guideline
Remaining screws, chassis M6
- Mount the nut on screw. and tighten.

- Insert
nut. in hole •. Position the chain guide.
- Mount and tighten

- Raise the motorcycle with the lilt stand. ( -- p. 10)
- Shilt gear to neutral .
- Check
the rear sprocket and engine sprocket for wear.

If the rear sprocket or engine sprocket is worn:
- Change the rear sprocket or engine sprocket.

I The engine sprocket, rear sprocket and chain should always be
replaced together.
- Pull
on the upper part of the chain with the specified weight •.
Guideline
1 Weight of chain wear measurement 110 ... 15 kg (22 ... 33 lb.)
- Measure the
distance. of 18 chain links in the lower chain section.
• Info
I Chain wear is not always even, so you should repeat this measurement at
different chain positions.
Maximum
distance. at the longest
chain section
272 mm (10.71 in)

If the distance 41 is greater than the specified measurement:
- Change the chain.
• Info
I When the chain is replaced, the rear sprocket and engine sprocket
should also
be changed.
New chains wear out faster
on old, worn sprockets.
