– Degrease the piston rod.
– Clamp the piston rod with the special tool.

– Remove fluid barrier  from the piston rod.

– Take piston rod  out of the cartridge.

– Take washer  and spring seat  off of the cartridge.

– Degrease the cartridge and clamp it with the special tool.

– Heat the cartridge in area .
Guideline
50 °C (122 °F)
– Loosen and remove screw sleeve .
