b. Safety Relay circuit (Automatic release function)
1. When the engine has started and the alternator has reached the specified rpm (N = 1 in the figure
below), the auto release controller is activated to turn off by the auto release relay.
2. With the auto release relay off, the starter motor current is interrupted to stop the starter motor.
3. In this way, the starter motor can be protected against seizure even if the key switch fails to get back.
