13.2.5 Example 5: Jog forward/Jog reverse
This example illustrates the funcons "Jog forward (CW)" and "Jog reverse (CCW)" for Jog
operaon.
•
Switch S1 starts the motor in forward direcon of rotaon. Switch S1 in the inial posion
stops the motor again.
•
Buon S2 starts the motor in forward direcon of rotaon with frequency preset 5.
•
Buon S3 starts the motor in backward direcon of rotaon with frequency preset 6.
•
The motor rotates in jog operaon as long as the respecve buon is pressed. If both but-
tons are pressed at the same me, the motor is stopped.
NOTICE
The jog operaon has a higher priority than the "Run" funcon, all other start commands and
the keypad key .
If jog operaon is acve, the motor cannot be stopped with the previously menoned func-
ons!

The jog operaon is stopped by cancelling the funcons "Jog foward (CW)"/"Jog reverse
(CCW)".

The jog operaon can be interrupted with the "Acvate quick stop" 0x2631:003
(P400.03)funcon.
